With an experience of over a decade in the service industry, Lailas’ belief of people being the pioneer of any and every entity has been further strengthened. Having worked with teams of ten to a few hundred, has reaffirmed the notion that people have almost the same needs, it is the ability to articulate those needs and transform them into results is where greatness lies! Having had the opportunity of being part of a leading organizational development firm in Pakistan – NAVITUS; starting as business development associate & exiting as CEO; has given her the luxury of associating with a magnitude of multinational & local corporations, through mindful understanding of their businesses & aiding them in achieving their goals. Similarly, heading the organization has also allowed her to implement some of the best practices she has observed on site & those that the organization trains on.
 
Honing human resource & strategic leadership experience, Laila is keenly interested in the ‘human side’ of organizations or what is also widely known as human capital, which comprises of all the intangibles that people bring to their jobs. She is a strong believer of Maslow’s maxim: “What a man can be, he must be”. Laila’s key focus is to lead people in organizations through processes of self-discovery, self actualization & personal growth.

Consequently, she is continuously engaged in developing her capacity in fields of personal & team development. Being the first non board member to be CEO at Navitus [formerly KZR] & growing the company’s’ profitability in double digits was possible due to the confidence of the Board & being able to develop sustainable relationships with colleagues, suppliers & customers across all tiers.
In 2015 Laila was associated with FranklinCovey Pakistan in the capacity of Director South, where she contributed to enhancing the business through building brand equity, recruiting, developing & leading the team.
 
As a consultant, Laila brings with her an uncanny ability to create an open environment where people at all levels in organizations communicate with each other without hesitation. With listening being one of her core strengths she has over the years been able to master the art of being responsive. This attention to detail has allowed her to weave architecture of trust & credibility. Her reflective personality & creativity has given a unique ability to provide innovative perspectives to conventional & challenging business scenarios.
